Inspired by the first U.S Navy uniform officially created in 1817
The U.S Navy war department declared in the early 1900’s enlisted sailors need to wear Blue Jackets & Trousers, US Navy blue denim work uniform was adopted on June 11th 1919, consisted of a pull-over smock jacket and waist dungarees. But by 1922, field testing had proved the smock jacket was not fit for the job and was replaced by a buttoned front jacket with shawl collar and two hip height patch pockets. Certain aspects of the uniform evolved over time to signify ranks such as master-at-arms, yeoman, and to distinguish officers.

This Naval Jumper was made from locally-sourced lightweight denim fabric, Making it wearable for sunny day on-board duty in any weather conditions. The Old Salt's applying the shawl collar with chin strap and hidden pocket in the inside. The Anchor Button epitomise Old Salt’s way of live in the sea.
